Unbox ASMR! Weather EventsAll Effects & What to Do
Weather events are the best free buffs in Unbox ASMR! — five-minute windows where the whole server earns double cash, floods with event crates, or gets double luck. Most players notice them and carry on; players who plan around them progress twice as fast. This page covers every event's effect and duration, how the rotation works, and — the part that actually matters — exactly what to do when each one starts. All data verified August 2026; anything we couldn't confirm from multiple sources is marked as such.
* Single source, unconfirmed — treat as a ballpark, not a schedule.
The basics
How Weather Events Work
Cash Rush
Honey
Luck
All three last 5 minutes, trigger at random, and apply to your whole server — not globally. Different servers can be in different events at the same time, which matters more than you'd think (see Server-Hopping below). The active event and its countdown show in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
How often do events spawn?
One report puts the gap at roughly 25 minutes after an event ends — but that's a single source, so treat it as a ballpark, not a schedule. What we can say for certain: events come around regularly, and you don't have to wait for yours.
Admin Abuse events
The developers also host scheduled Admin Abuse events — announced in-game with a date and time — where they activate weather, boost luck, and hand out shots at high-rarity crates. These aren't a fourth weather type, but they're the only events you can actually plan for in advance.

All Weather Events & Effects
Cash Rush
2x cash from all sources
Every source of income doubles for 5 minutes: walking on toys, workers, stomping crates — all of it. Confirmed across multiple sources.
What to do: Grind — Drop everything and earn.
Honey
Event crates on the belt
A giant beehive appears in the sky, bees fill the map, and Honey crates start flooding the conveyor. Honey crates cost around $25,000 and are the only source of the 10 Honey items. Honey crates do rarely spawn outside the event, but this window is the realistic way to get them.
One report says roughly 1 in 5 belt crates becomes a Honey crate during the event — single source, unconfirmed.
What to do: Buy Everything — Spend your cash stockpile on Honey crates.
Luck
2x luck, server-wide
Double luck for 5 minutes, covering both Conveyor Luck and Crate Luck — rarer crates on the belt and rarer toys inside them. It stacks with gamepasses like 2x Luck and VIP.
Whether the gamepass stacking is multiplicative or additive hasn't been tested.
What to do: Open Saved Crates — Open the expensive crates you've been saving.
The playbook
What to Do During Each Event
| Event | Do this | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Cash Rush | Stomp the belt nonstop + keep every toy earning | All income ×2 — the best pure-cash window in the game |
| Honey | Spend everything on Honey crates (~$25K each) | Event-only toys, and honey is now rebirth reward currency |
| Luck | Open saved high-tier crates | 2x luck on the most expensive openings you have |
What to Do Between Events
The windows are short, so the real strategy happens between them: build a cash reserve, buy expensive crates but don't open them, and keep an eye on the bottom-right indicator. Normal play is the setup; the event is the payoff.
Server-Hopping for Events
Because events roll per server, not globally, another server may be in the event you want right now. If you're waiting on a Honey or Luck window, hopping servers is usually faster than waiting out your own server's rotation.
Worth it?
The Math of Weather Windows
What 5 Minutes of 2x Is Worth
Cash Rush hands you 5 minutes of income for free — doubled earnings for a 5-minute window equals five full minutes of your normal rate, on top of what you'd have earned anyway. The higher your income, the more the window is worth: negligible on day one, worth billions in the late game.
What Luck Does to an Expensive Crate
Luck doubles your rarity odds — which barely matters on a $100 Common crate and matters enormously on a $25 billion Divine one. Saving a $25B crate for a 2x window is effectively a free second roll on the biggest purchase you'll make.
The rule of thumb: the more a crate costs, the more it's worth waiting for a Luck window.
Priorities shift
Weather Events by Game Stage
Early Game
Cash Rush is king
Your income base is small, so doubling it is the biggest relative boost you can get — and Honey crates at ~$25K are within reach early. Both events beat Luck at this stage: you don't own crates expensive enough for 2x luck to matter.
Mid Game
Honey windows
Once you can afford to sweep the belt during a Honey event, this becomes your priority window — Honey toys earn well, and honey doubles as rebirth reward currency after the August 2 update. Cash Rush stays useful; Luck matters only when you're holding Epic+ crates.
Late Game
Luck or nothing
When your purchases run $25B and up, the only window that moves the needle is Luck — doubled odds on a Divine-or-better opening. Cash Rush and Honey become rounding errors next to late-game income.
FAQ
Quick Answers
How often do weather events happen?
One source reports roughly every 25 minutes after the last event ends, but it's unconfirmed — treat it as approximate. If you don't want to wait, server-hop: events are per-server, so another server may be running the one you want.
Do weather effects stack with gamepasses?
Yes — Luck event stacks with 2x Luck and VIP bonuses. Whether the stacking multiplies or adds hasn't been publicly tested.
Can you predict the next event?
No — rotation is random. The only scheduled events are developer-hosted Admin Abuse sessions, which are announced in-game with a date and time.
Missed the Honey event — now what?
Server-hop to find one, or wait for the next rotation. Honey crates spawn only rarely outside the event, and the 10 Honey items come only from Honey crates — so the event window is the practical route.
