Unbox ASMR! RebirthTiming, Multipliers & Strategy (2026)

Rebirth resets your progress in exchange for a permanent cash multiplier — and the August 2 Honey update completely reworked the rebirth system, which is why most guides online currently contradict each other: they're describing the old version. Everything below was verified against the in-game rebirth panel after the update. Where the current system is still unknown — and yes, parts of it are — we say so explicitly.

The trade

What Rebirth Does

Rebirthing wipes your current run and gives you two things in return:

A permanent Rebirth Boost

A cumulative percentage bonus to your cash earnings that persists through all future rebirths.

Honey

The event currency added in the August 2 update, awarded in growing amounts each rebirth (1, 2, 3, 5...).

Your panel shows two numbers: Rebirth Boost (the bonus from your last rebirth) and Current Boost (your total accumulated multiplier). The total is what actually multiplies your income.

What You Keep and What You Lose

Verified from the in-game warning panel

Resets

  • Money
  • Unboxed toys
  • Infrastructure (plot/buildings)

Keeps

  • Rebirth Boost (your multipliers)
  • Honey
  • Special items & gamepasses

Two details we're still confirming: whether limited/special toys are exempt from the toy reset, and whether the "Toys Unboxed" counter (a rebirth requirement — see below) carries over between rebirths or restarts from zero. We'll update the moment it's confirmed.

Rebirth Multipliers (Verified)

Every number below was read directly off the in-game panel, post-update. Per-rebirth boosts are derived from the cumulative totals — and they check out exactly.

  1. R1$100K cash + 10 Toys Unboxed

    1 Honey+25%

  2. R2$500K cash + 25 Toys Unboxed

    2 Honey+50%

  3. R3$2.5M cash + 50 Toys Unboxed

    3 Honey+100%

  4. R4$10M cash + 100 Toys Unboxed

    5 Honey+200%

  5. R5+Unknown

    UnknownUnknown

Why other guides show different numbers: the pre-update system used different multipliers (a "1.5x per rebirth" formula), different requirements ($75K + a specific Rare Slime for R1), and awarded Rebirth-exclusive toys instead of honey. Guides quoting "maximum 10 rebirths" are describing that retired system — the current cap is unknown, and R5 hasn't been documented anywhere yet.

How the Multiplier Compounds

The boosts accelerate: +25%, then +25%, then +50%, then +100%. By R4 you're earning 3x cash on everything — every stomp, every toy, every worker. And because each rebirth's requirement is a fixed cash target (not scaled to your boost), each cycle gets faster: R2's $500K with a +25% boost takes meaningfully less time than R1's $100K from zero. The system is explicitly designed to snowball.

Timing

When to Rebirth

The current system makes this simpler than the old one — the requirement is the answer. Rebirth the moment you can comfortably hit the panel's cash and toy thresholds, with one caveat: prep first ( checklist below). Stage by stage:

First Rebirth: Minimum Setup Before You Click

$100K + 10 toys

$100K and 10 unboxed toys arrives fast — often within your first long session. Don't rush it the second you hit $100K: make sure you've unboxed your 10 toys (buy cheap Common/Uncommon crates to pad the count), and spend your excess cash first, because every dollar resets. If you're close to a conveyor upgrade, weigh it: the upgrade resets too, so cash spent now only pays off if it helps you reach the next rebirth faster.

Rebirth 2–4: The Compounding Windows

$500K → $10M

This is where the snowball lives. Requirements jump 5x, 5x, then 4x ($500K → $2.5M → $10M), but your boost grows faster (+50% → +100% → +200%). The rhythm: rebuild to your previous income level (much quicker with the boost), push past the threshold with a comfortable margin, prep, click. The toy counts (25 → 50 → 100) become the real pacing constraint — keep a stash of cheap crates to unbox in bulk when you're approaching the cash target.

Rebirth 5+: The Unknown Frontier

Unknown

Nobody has documented R5 post-update — not us, not any wiki, not any video we've found. If the doubling pattern continues, R5 would be a serious multiplier, but that's speculation until someone reads it off a panel. When verified data appears, this section gets it first.

Signs You're Rebirthing Too Early or Too Late

Too early

You clicked before hitting the toy count, and now you're re-unboxing basics with no cash. Fix: treat the toy threshold as the real gate, not the cash.

Too late

You've been sitting at 3x the cash requirement for days "optimizing." Cash and infrastructure reset anyway — past the threshold plus a safety margin, every hour of delay is an hour the bigger multiplier isn't working for you.

Before you click

Pre-Rebirth Checklist

Before you click, run down this list:

  • Toy count hit

Confirm "Toys Unboxed" shows the required number (pad with cheap crates if short).

  • Cash spent down

Money resets to zero; convert excess into anything useful for the next run's early game.

  • Pending rewards claimed

Daily rewards, event currency, anything claimable.

  • Weather check

If a Cash Rush or Luck event is minutes away, consider rebirthing after using it to hit your threshold faster. Event effects & durations

  • Gamepass items secured

    These persist; everything else doesn't.

The first hour

Rebuilding After Rebirth

Your first 30–60 minutes after clicking:

  1. 1

    Stomp the belt

With zero cash, stomping conveyor crates is your starter income — and your multiplier applies to it.

  2. 2

    Buy cheap crates immediately

Common/Uncommon crates rebuild your toy count (needed for the next rebirth) and your base income at once.

  3. 3

    Re-hire workers early

Passive collection compounds; every minute without workers is lost income.

  4. 4

    Ride weather events

With a +25–200% boost active, a Cash Rush event is worth multiples of what it was pre-rebirth. Event effects & durations

  5. 5

Set your sights on the next threshold

Know the exact cash and toy numbers you're rebuilding toward — they're on the panel.

Avoid these

Common Rebirth Mistakes

  • Hoarding cash past the threshold

Zero benefit — it all resets

    Fix Spend down before clicking

  • Ignoring the toy count

    Cash ready, rebirth locked

Fix Unbox cheap crates in bulk early

  • Following pre-update guides

    Wrong multipliers, wrong requirements

Fix Check the guide's date — anything before Aug 2, 2026 describes the old Unbox ASMR rebirth system

  • Rebirthing mid-event

    Wasted weather buff

Fix Use the event to reach the threshold, then click

  • Panic-selling special items

Gamepass/special items were never at risk

Fix Check the keep/lose table before liquidating anything

FAQ

Quick Answers

Can I undo a rebirth?

No. Rebirth is permanent and instant — the reset can't be rolled back. That's why the checklist above exists.

What's the maximum number of rebirths?

Unknown in the current version. The "10 rebirths max" figure circulating online describes the retired pre-update system, and no post-update cap has been documented. R5+ data will be added here as soon as it's verified.

How often should I rebirth?

Whenever you meet the panel's cash + toy requirements with a safety margin. With the current thresholds, active players report reaching R1 within their first sessions; R2–R4 each take progressively longer in absolute terms but are accelerated by your growing multiplier.

What's the Rebirth! badge?

A Roblox badge awarded for your first Unbox ASMR rebirth — held by roughly 3.5 million players (about 1 in 5 everyone who has played). For perspective: the Complete Index badge, for collecting every toy, is held by fewer than 100 players worldwide. Rebirthing is common; completing what rebirthing enables is not.

Do I lose my Rebirth toys when I rebirth again?

Rebirth-boost and honey always persist. Whether special/limited toys survive the "unboxed toys" reset is one of the two details we're still confirming — we'll update this answer with verified data, not guesses.
